PURPOSE:To eliminate a pick-up mistake of a chip by a nozzle of a transfer head. CONSTITUTION:A pocket 15 of a tape 14 guided from a reel 13 of a tape unit 10 is measured by measuring means 25 such as a camera, etc., at a pick-up position Q of a nozzle 21 of a transfer head 20, a depth D of the pocket 15 is detected. A height of an upper surface of a chip P contained in the pocket 15 is obtained from the depth D, and a falling stroke S of the nozzle 21 is determined based on the height. |
