METHOD FOR PRINTING ON EXTERNAL BODY OF BATTERY

PURPOSE:To provide a method for printing on the external body of a battery by which clear printing can be carried out on the surface of an external label having shrinking and tacking properties by using laser light. CONSTITUTION:One printing method described in a first embodiment involves radiation of laser light to an external wrapping lavel 1 in advance while the surface of the level being kept at the temperature lower than the ambient temperature by at least 3 deg.C for printing and the other printing method described in a second embodiment involves radiation of laser light after the printing part 3 on the surface of the external wrapping lavel 1 is previously heated and shrunk by a jig at the temperature 20-50 deg.C higher than the thermally shrinking temperature of the lavel material.
