CELLULOSIC FINE POWDER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide cellulosic fine powder having a smooth outer shape, high fluidity, dispersibility and specific surface area and a method for producing the aforementioned cellulosic fine powder. CONSTITUTION:Copper is removed from particles obtained by spray-drying an aqueous solution of cuprammonium cellulose in an acidic aqueous solution. The resultant particles are then washed with water and dehydrated to prepare a wet cake with 40-85% moisture content. A dehydrating agent is subsequently added to dehydrate and coagulate the aforementioned wet cake.
