<p>A process for fitting an elongate sealing strip to an elongate flange 14 having a variable height along its length comprises: (i) providing a sealing strip of the type comprising a base and two side walls which between them form a generally U-shaped channel capable of being received on the said flange, the free end of one of the side walls being formed with an oversize flexible lip 26; (ii) establishing the variability of the flange height to which the sealing strip is to be fitted; and (iii) trimming the oversize flexible lip of the sealing strip to match the variability in the height of the flange so that, in use, when the sealing strip is fitted to the flange, the variability of the flange height is disguised. <IMAGE></p> |
