Solar plant and method of operating same, it being possible to aerate concentrating solar collectors (11) with normally evacuated collector housings (15) and to generate in these collector housings (15) an air flow, in order, in the event of locally occurring overheating, to cool the solar collectors (11) and the heat transfer medium (46) flowing through them and to prevent damage, the aim being a simple construction and a pressure-sealed connection of the collectors to one another.
