PURPOSE:To increase efficiency for use of toner and also prevent the quality of an image formed from decreasing. CONSTITUTION:A mixing toner in which three primary color photosensitive toners are mixed with each other is adhered in charged condition onto a copying drum 34 of a developing section 30 to expose an image on an original 10. The toner not required is de-charged and separated from the copying drum 34. The toner separated from the copying drum 34 is collected in a regenerative tank 42. In the regenerative tank 42, several kinds of photosensitive toners are supplied from toner cartridges 50a, 50b, and 50c, respectively. The amount of each toner supplied is determined by the consumed amount of each toner calculated by the color tone of the image on the original 10. The color tone of the image on the original 10 is detected by the output from a light receiving sensor provided with three photosensors 66a, 66b, and 66c that are sensitive to three primary colors. The toner in the regenerative tank 42 is re-supplied to a developing section 30. |
