MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AND DIAGNOSTIC METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a monoclonal antibody recognizing human polynucleated cell factors-47 KD protein and -67 KD protein and further to provide a method for diagnosing human autosomal recessive chronic granulomatosis by using the antibody. CONSTITUTION:Human polynucleated cell factors-47 KD protein and -67 KD protein prepared by a genetic recombination technique are employed as immune antibodies and a cell fusion method is applied to prepare a hybridoma continuously producing a desired antibody. The hybridoma is cultured and multiplied by a proper method and subsequently purified to provide a monoclonal antibody recognizing the human polynucleated cell factors-47 KD protein and -67 KD protein. The employment of the antibody permits the diagnosis of a human autosomal recessive chronic chronic granulomatosis.
