PURPOSE:To provide an automatic transaction machine which makes it possible to supplement and collect a safe efficiently and safely. CONSTITUTION:This automatic transaction machine is provided with a transaction means 2 provided with a safe 5 in which cash is housed and executing transaction with a customer, and a cash supply means for supplementing a safe 5 to this transaction means 2, wherein a closely connecting section enabling a safe to pass through the inside of the automatic transaction machine over the transaction means 2 and the cash supply means. At the same time, the transaction means 2 is provided with a safe conveying means 6 which sends out the safe 5 to the closely connecting section and which conveys the safe 5 from this closely connecting section, and the cash supply means is provided with a supplement collecting means which suplements a safe 5 to the closely connecting section and which collects a safe 5 from the closely connecting section. This constitution enables safe and efficient replacement of a safe to be conducted.
