PURPOSE:To enable both accuracy of control and responsiveness of the controller in the caption to be enhanced by inhibiting input of signals during a period of operational action which may cause error(s) in signal(s). CONSTITUTION:When operation of a clutch 3 and/or speed change operation of transmission gear 4 are/is in execution and for a defined period after the end of the above sorts of operation, entry of car speed signal V into an arithmetic means 9 is inhibited, provided that a brake pedal 11 is not stepped on. Namely, any car speed signal V which may be instantaneously varied due to backlash(es) of the gear of the transmission gear 4 generated by clutch operation and speed change operation is prevented from being input. Accordingly, accuracy of control and responsiveness of the transmission gear can be sharply improved in this way. |
