PURPOSE:To obtain a skin cosmetic having excellent beautifying effects, improved safety and stability free from problems of color, smell, etc., containing an extract of galenical drug derived from specific leguminous and compositus plant having high inhibitory action on tyrosinase activity. CONSTITUTION:A skin cosmetic containing preferably about 0.01-5.0wt.% calculated as dried solid content of one or more extracts obtained by extracting a galenical drug selected from SANZUKON (root of Sophora subprosarata), GOKANHI (bark of Albizzia julibrissin), SANHENZU (C. sophera L.), SOJISHI (Xanthium strumarium L.), SHION (root of Aster tataricus) and INCHINKOU (whole grass of Artemisia capillaris) with one of water, ethyl alcohol, glycerol and 1,3-butylene glycol or a mixed solvent of two or more of them at room temperature or under heating. The cosmetic has excellent beautifying effects, inhibitory action on skin aging and improving effects on chapped skin. The cosmetic can be made into a dosage form such as toilet lotion, milky lotion, cream, pack, ointment, dispersion, cleaning agent, etc. |
