1. Process and device for drying potato waste pulp, involving application of hot drying agent to moist waste pulp, characterized in that a stream of pulverised to a mist wet potato waste pulp containing around 25 percent of dry substance is injected stream wise with a speed of above 30 m/sec, into a conduit (5) containing a stream of drying agent heated to 500-700 degrees C, where the pulp loses approximately 20 percent of moisture and then it is shifted to the rotating barrel (1), the pulp is further stirred and dried with the hot drying agent achieving total mass moisture level below 13 percent.<IMAGE>
