The securing device is for a screw top/plug/snap closure of bottles, cans, etc.. It consists of a part of synthetic material, e.g. of hot-melt adhesive. The part engages over the container-sided edge of the closure in at least one point, and over the neighbouring section of the container wall. The securing part has a predetermined breaking point in the area between closure edge and container wall. The adhesive action of the material of the securing part on the container wall, can be reduced by hot water to such an extent, that the part can be removed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, economical, low material consumption, easy environmentally friendly disposal.
