PURPOSE:To provide a printing character distance controller apparatus wherein a work related with adjustment of word distance can be very easily performed. CONSTITUTION:As shown in a corresponding table 20, nine kinds of patterns combining the number of a family name and the number of a first name are set and printing character distance patterns corresponding to each case of these nine kinds are stored. Then, when a full name is input, based on a combination pattern to which the full name belongs, a corresponding printing distance pattern is selected from the corresponding relation of the corresponding table 20 and a printing distance of a word line is controlled based on the selected printing distance pattern. Therefore, only the full name is input, the printing distance between each word is automatically determined based on a printing distance pattern determined by a combination of the number of the family name and the number of the first name of the full name and a work related with adjustment of the word distance becomes very easy. |
