The object of the invention is a combustion engine apparatus comprising a diesel-powered Otto-cycle engine (10), an exhaust supercharger (14) and a catalytic converter (13). According to the invention the passive catalytic converter (13) is mounted between the combustion engine (10) and the exhaust supercharger (14), that is, the exhaust gases are led to the catalytic converter directly from the engine, before the supercharger. |
