PURPOSE:To considerably reduce the data volume to increase the processing speed by describing control information of lines for picture processing collectively with respect to a line group. CONSTITUTION:In a mixture picture 100, parenthesized numbers indicate classifications of pictures, and parenthesized alphabets indicate sets of plural lines (line groups) which can be described by the same information. Each rectangular area of each ordinary picture is divided by dividing lines passing along upper and lower sides of another rectangular areas, and several new fractionalized rectangular areas. These new rectangular areas are described with X and Y coordinates of start (left upper corner) and end (right lover corner) points and classifications of pictures in the same manner as the original rectangular area. In this case, the figure clearly shows that plural lines between ajacent dividing lines have common line control information. |
