<p>PURPOSE:To accurately wrap a magnetic tape on a rotating drum, to stably transport it and to produce a rotating head assembly at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:Both upper and lower edges of the magnetic tape 26 is regulated with a guide surface 9 perpendicular to the drum peripheral surface 8 of the rotating drum 2 molded of polycarbonate resin with added 20-30weight% carbon and 10-20weight% glass fiber, and 30a and 30b of the tape guide 6a and 6b arranged with prescribed interval near the rotating drum 2 and erected on the surface 9 and the tape is wrapped on the rotating drum 2. The rotating drum is produced accurately and at a low cost, as well, and the guide surface 9 and flanges 30a and 30b prevent the magnetic tape from meandering and the tape 26 is wrapped around the rotating drum accurately without adding twist and runs stably.</p> |
