Class 65(2) The top pivot 7, or top pivot bearing, of a door depends from a slide 3 adjustable longitudinally of a fixing plate 1 and is adjustable vertically by a lever 18 pivoted on the slide, one end of which enters a lateral opening 19 in the pivot or pivot bearing and the other end of which is forked at 22 and engages a groove 23 in a screw 24 mounted in a threaded part 25 of the slide. A capstan headed adjusting screw 14 held captive by the fixing plate engages a threaded hole in a block 12 secured to the slide. The plate 1 is slotted to give access from below to the heads of the screws 14, 24, and carries rivets 4 extending through longitudinal slots in the slide to guide the latter. The pivot or pivot bearing is supported in a boss 8 fixed to the slide. |
