PURPOSE:To provide a cutting method of an end part of a tread which is made to reduce a cause of generation of peeling in a joining part by dispersing peeling force at joint, by constituting the title method so that at the time of grounding and input of a tire, an input line and a joining line are crossed under a state of a counter circular arc in a cutting and joint part of the end part of the tread. CONSTITUTION:In the case where an end part of a tread W is cut off by making use of a straight edge, the tread W possesses a cutting angle alpha of 15-60 deg. in a thickness direction of the tread W and the end part is cut off so that a cutting line X describes circular arcs in a longitudinal direction. Since in the end joint of the tread W is cut off like this, an input line and joint line are crossed under a state of a counter circular arc at the time of input of the tire tread to an advancing direction of the tire, peeling force of the joint is dispersed and a cause of generation of peeling in the joint can be reduced. |
