PURPOSE:To enhance homogeneity and to prevent interlaminar peeling in a time of working and usage by performing impregnation and hardening treatment of thermosetting resin for a burned body in production for burning the laminate of both a formed thermosetting resin plate and a porous sheet of paper based on cellulose fiber impregnated with thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:Both a semihardened formed plate of thermosetting resin (phenolic resin, furan resin or the like) becoming the precursor of a glassy formed carbon body and a porous sheet described below are alternately laminated. The porous sheet is obtained by impregnating paper (paper made of pulp, paper made of rayon or the like) incorporating cellulose fiber as a main body with thermosetting resin and semihardening the same. The resin component is hardened by hot pressing. Primary burning carbonization treatment is performed for this laminated body at >=800 deg.C in the nonoxidative atmosphere. The burned body obtained by such a way is impregnated with thermosetting resin and treated. Thereby resin is filled in a porous carbon layer converted from the porous sheet. Then heating, hardening and secondary burning carbonization treatment based on the same conditions as the above-mentioned method are performed. Thereby the aimed formed body is obtained which has wall thickness exceeding 10mm and dense composition and property. |
