In order to attach a label (2) to a garment hanger (1), a plastics clip (3) is provided which engages on the shaft (12) of the conventional wire hook (11) with which the hanger is hung up. Protruding from the rear face of the clip are a pair of tabs (34) with concave support surfaces (341) adapted to engage one side of the shaft and a pair of slightly resiliently sprung tabs (33) with hooked ends (331) dimensioned so that they can hold the clip on to the shaft. The label (2) has a, e.g. rectangular, cutout through which the parts of the clip extending from the clip base (31) pass. The base of the clip overlies part of the hanger below the hook so that the label is held on in a positively fixed fashion and, in particular, cannot rotate about the shaft (12) of the hanger hook (11). <IMAGE> |
