Flows of coarse feed and grass-flour granules are mixed with combined trnasfer from one stage to the mixt. wt. of resulting mixt. in first transfer stage is controlled, mixt. is discharged into troughs, dry cpd. feeds are removed and molasses added mixt. rolled into granules, and fed back to mixt. of initial flows of coarse feed and grassflour granules. Equipment has sequence of conveyors (1-4), above which are hoppers/feeders (5,6,7,9) for ingredients, measuring devices, molasses-storage container (12) with delivery-pipe (13), pump (14), and sprayer (15). Coarse animal feed (hay, silage etc) is fed by hoppers/feeders (5) on to conveyor (1), followed by grass flour granules from feeder (6). Mixt. goes to wt. measuring conveyor (2); with wt. controlled mixt. is transferred to sloping conveyor (3). At same time, from hopper (7) dry cpd. feed is drawn by conveyor (8) and put into hopper (9), being measured by (10) via loading hole (19) into rolling equipment (18). Molasses are pumped by (14) from container (12) along pipe (13) to sprayer (15) into dry mixt. to prepare spherical granules. These leave on conveyor (4) with trucks (28, 29) for final mixing. |
