A device determines the adhesiveness of sealing materials to metallic and nonmetallic substrates, in particular to spacers for multi-pane insulating glass. In order to carry out a rapid and realistic determination, a loading lever (2) having a movable weight (3) is mounted by means of a knife-edge bearing (4, 4a) on a baseplate (1).
