SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITE MOLDED PRODUCT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To endure large external force at the contact point or the like by using synthetic resin not only suitable for the application of electroless plating but also having large toughness for a material to be used for a section on which a metal layer is formed. CONSTITUTION:A first thermoplastic resin hard to be surface roughened chemically and of superior sliding characteristics and a second thermoplastic resin easy to be surface roughened chemically are injection molded to manufacture a composite molded product composed of a formed body 2 and a molded body 1. Further, a desired synthetic resin composite molded product is manufactured by surface roughening chemically the given section out of the section where the second thermoplastic resin is exposed on the surface of said composite molded product and applying electroless plating to form a metal layer 5. As the toughness of the second thermoplastic resin is large, the resin can endure large external force at the contact point or the like.
