The invention relates to a light fixture incorporating a linear, in particular horizontally arranged, light source (1) having on both longitudinal sides of the light source (1) concavely, in particular parabolically, curved lateral reflectors (2, 3), which extend from below to above said light source, and a lower exit opening arranged between the lateral reflectors (2, 3), as well as an anti-glare element (10) arranged between the light source (1) and the exit opening. The anti-glare element (10) consists of a highly transparent material, and embraces the light source (1) at least partially circumferentially. It consists, furthermore, of a foil-like or thin- walled material and has on its surface facing the exit opening a prismatic structure composed of prisms (11) extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing.
