<p>The invention relates to an intra-ocular device for implantation in the capsular sac. The device according to the invention comprises an optical part (10) of substantially circular shape and a haptic part consisting of two inwardly curved flexible loops (12, 14), each having a first free end intended to come into contact with the wall of the capsular sac and a second end connected to the periphery of the optical part. The optical part (10) has a diameter (D) between 4.5 and 6 mm, the whole of the two loops (12, 14), at rest, is situated within a first circle (C2) concentric with the optical part and has a diameter between 11.5 and 13 mm and each loop (12, 14) comprises a first substantially radial portion (16) whose second end terminates in a second circle (C1) concentric with the optical part and whose diameter is substantially equal to 7 mm and a second portion (22) starting from the said second end substantially tangential to the said second circle (C1). <IMAGE></p> |
