The integrating charge amplifer contains an operational amplifier with (OP1) feedback via a passive differentiator in parallel with Ohmic and capacitive feedback paths. There is a further frequency correction stage. The differentiator consists of a two capacitors (C1,C2) in series and a resistance (R1) connected from between them to earth. A third capacitance (D3) and resistance (R3) can be connected in parallel to the differentiator. USE/ADVANTAGE - For picking up the output signal of sensor with capacitive internal impedance and integrating it, e.g. for detecting mechanical vibrations with a piezoelectric element. Amplifier is improved by addition of frequency correction.
