<p>PURPOSE:To prepare the title powder which is excellent in color tone and gloss, exhibits leafing phenomenon better than that of a conventional gold powder, keeps the phenomonon from changing for the worse even when brought into contact with a vehicle, and retains a metallic gloss for a long time. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. flaky brass powder pretreated with a fatty acid and having a mean particle size of 10mum or lower is coated with 2-10 pts.wt. fatty acid ester and 0.2-5 pts.wt. coupling agent to give the title powder.</p> |
