<p>PURPOSE:To enable economization by reducing a hardware amount by realizing the filtering function of a packet with a simple hardware so as to reduce facility cost and to connect a packet exchange device and an outside network each other. CONSTITUTION:A packet exchange device 1 is provided to connect terminal adapters 12a and 12b, which house plural temrinals, in the shape of a star. The packet exchange device 1 is equipped with a connector 6 to exchange a packet through a packet bus 3 between plural terminal housing circuits 2a and 2b and to connect the device 1 and an outside network 15 each other. The terminal housing circuits 2a and 2b are equipped with address registers for registering plural packet addresses and passage display registers for the packets on the inside. Between the connector 6 and the respective terminal housing circuits 2a and 2b, a signal line 5 is provided to inform reception. Thus, the hardware amount is reduced.</p> |
