PURPOSE:To recognize the ending time of data transmission for a source side on the source side and to improve work efficiency for the source side by calculating data transmitting time and displaying the data transmission completion time. CONSTITUTION:Data transmitted from a terminal 6 to a terminal line 7 are transmitted to a data line 5 in the order of the transmission and stored in a received data buffer 1. The data stored in the buffer 1 are stored in a transmitted data buffer 2 in the state of packet assembly. Further, the data are transmitted to the data line 5 for each packet. A transmitting time calculating means 3 calculates time for transmitting the data stored in the data buffer 1 based on the amount of the data stored in the data buffer 1, buffer 1, time for transmitting one packet stored in advance and the amount of data to be transmitted by one packet. Further, an output display part 4 displays the transmission completion time based on the calculated time. |
