PURPOSE:To hold a high picture quality, to synthesize massive text data without apparently indicating the presence of the massive text data and to separate the text data from the synthesized picture by reducing the data amount of the text data with a previous processing, and adapting the data amount of the text data assigned to each conversion block for synthesis based on the activity of picture data. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a data inputting part 101 which inputs digital data, changeover switch 103 which switches a processing according to the synthesis of the data or the separation of the data, picture data and text data synthesizing part 104 which synthesizes the picture data with the text data, picture data and text data separating part 105 which separates the text data from the picture data, and data outputting part 107 which outputs the data from the above-mentioned synthesizing part 104 or the separating part 105. |
