<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a software processing and to easily and efficiently execute the program debugging in low power consumption modes by providing a microcomputer having plural low power consumption operation modes in addition to a normal opration mode with a circuit capable of storing a transited operation mode. CONSTITUTION:This microcomputer 1 has plural low power consumption operation modes A, B in addition to the normal operation mode and generates a signal Mode A or B corresponding to each mode A or B by an operation mode signal generating circuit 2 based upon an internal signal. A storage circuit 3 stores the signal Mode A or B and outputs a signal Out A or B. A CPU 7 fetches the signal Out A or B through a bus 6. Thus the transited operation mode A or B can easily be stored or recognized. Consequently software processing can be simplified and the program debugging and evaluation of the low power consumption operation modes A, B can be easily and efficiently executed.</p> |
