PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the whole of a composite electronic computer system by executing a program of a down computer again without restoration of this computer to the operating state. CONSTITUTION:Check point files 131 and 132 of electronic computers 11 and 12 are stored in a shared disk 13 which electronic computers 11 and 12 can refer to in common, and contents of the check point file 131 of the computer 11 can be copied to the check point file 132 of the computer 12 if the computer 11 is faulty. Therefore, the copied contents of the check point file 131 of the computer 11 are referred to restart a program A, which is executed on the computer 11 till then, on the computer 12. Thus, the reliability of the operation in the whole of the composite electronic computer system is improved. |
