PURPOSE:To obtain a radiant tube having excellent thermal shock resistance and oxidizing resistance without developing deterioration of the strength even at >=1500 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:This radiant tube has the peculiarity, in which a part or all of the inner layer of the radiant tube is composed of the layer with a crystal structure converted into silicon carbide mainly containing 2H or 3C polytype or a mixture of polytypes of 2H with 3C, and carbon material obtd. by deposit- coating a silicon carbide having closer structure than the inner layer is applied on the above silicon carbide. |
