PURPOSE:To extremely decrease pedal step-in force in the beginning of a brake acting, relating to a fluid pressure booster of the vehicle brake for transmitting the kick-down force of a brake pedal, assisted through driving a piston by a fluid pressure, to a master cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A booster piston 6 is arranged in a position separated from on the center line of a master cylinder and also connecting both the piston and cylinder by input/output levers 4, 2. That is, the output lever 2, whose point A in an intermediate part is supported to a case 1, is provided to make a point B in one end of the output lever 2 connectable to the master cylinder through an output member 3 and also connecting a point C in another one end to one end of the input lever 4. In the input lever 4, a point E in an intermediate part is connected to the booster piston 6 while connecting a point D in another one end to an input member 5. A point F in the other intermediate part of the input lever 4 is connected to a fluid pressure control valve 7. Further, a jump up member 37, which applies an initial load Fo preset by a spring 34 to an intermediate part of the output lever 2 by moving the booster piston 6 by supplying a fluid pressure, is provided. |
