CORONA DISCHARGE TREATMENT OF RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To provide uniform, favorable corona discharge treatment on the entire resin molded product by applying a high-voltage pulse of specified waveform between a discharge electrode and counter electrode set up with a resin molded product put in between to generate corona discharge, with spark discharge hard to occur. CONSTITUTION:A resin molded product 10 such as an automotive instrument panel pad with three-dimensional design is put between a discharge electrode 30 and its counter electrode 20, and a high-voltage pulse 10-100KV in wave height value, <=1muS in pulse width and 10-1000pps in pulse frequency is applied between them to generate corona discharge, thus providing favorable corona discharge treatment on the entire surface of the product including the edge proximities.
