<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet size display device capable of performing the display and detection of sheet size almost simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A display detecting member 4 is formed of signal parts 11 detected by detecting means S1, S2, S3 provided at a sheet storage part for storing various sizes of sheets or in the vicinity of this sheet storage part, and display parts 8 for displaying the size of the sheets inserted into the sheet storage part. This display detecting member 4 is removably provided at the sheet storage part or in the vicinity of the sheet storage part so as to detect the size of the sheets stored in the sheet storage part and to display the size of the sheets by one display detecting member 4. When the size of the sheets stored in the sheet storage part is changed, the detection and display of sheet size after the change can be performed almost simultaneously by the simple action of mounting the display detecting member 4 again.</p> |
