PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain a corner fastener for use in quick securing of two frame members which are hollow section constituting members, for instance, together at right angles and without collapsing the same. CONSTITUTION: A corner faster 10 includes a body sized to be inserted in a cavity having a detent, of a first frame member 11. The body has locking tabs each having a locking means, and the locking tabs each have a first end effectively connected to the body and a second end which is free to move between an unengaged position and an engaged position. The locking means has a detent engaging member. The body has a fastening member aperture which is in general axial alignment with an opening 12k on an external wall of the second frame. When the body is positioned in the cavity 11C and when a fastening member 50 is inserted in the opening and the aperture, the detent engaging member is locked in the detent by the fastening member, thereby fastening the first and second frame members together. |
