PURPOSE:To suppress smearing by automatically controlling the light quantity of guided light. CONSTITUTION:The reflected light which is generated from a light source 2, is emitted from a front end 1a of an endoscope and is reflected from a body 5 to be irradiated is received in a photodetector 12 through a laser guide 10 and a split mirror 11. The signal of the reflected light received therein is outputted to a control means 8. A filter guide is interposed onto the optical path of a guided light generator 7 or is retreated therefrom according to the kind of the endoscope, by which the quantity of this guided light is automatically regulated. |
