PURPOSE:To seal the cut part so as to become a roundly crushed state by clamping the outside periphery of a metallic pipe by two conductive clamp members, and cutting the metallic pipe by impressing a voltage through the clamp members. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 3 to which an injection of gas is completed is clamped by conductive clamp members 11 by placing a cut part 31 between them. A voltage is impressed between the clamp members 11. As a result, a current flows to the pipe 3, the pipe 3 of the part placed between the clamp members 11 becomes a high temperature, melted in the cut part 31, and the side face 33 after cutting becomes a roundish and completely sealed face. |
