PURPOSE:To enhance fuel efficiency of Diesel engine in a system for feeding a load with power from a solar power generator and a Diesel engine generator, for example. CONSTITUTION:Power is fed to a load from a power system 6 and a solar power generating system comprising solar cells 1, a battery 2 storing the output power of the solar cells, an inverter 3 to be interconnected with the power system 6, and a controller 4. Output of the inverter is controlled, in daytime, so that the battery 2 is charged to a predetermined level before the load power reaches a peak level. During peak time of load power, the battery 2 supplements the difference between the load power and the system power supply. |
