PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device where scraping off of toner stuck to a toner recovery roll is facilitated even when the toner attracting force by electrification of the toner recovery roll is enhanced. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with a toner recovery roll 22, with an insulation layer 22c on its outer periphery part, installed in the vicinity of the actuating positions of an image bearing body 1 and a developing roll 14. A member for triboelectrification 23c to triboelectrify the outer periphery surface of the toner recovery roll 22 to the reverse polarity as the toner is provided to come into contact with the outer periphery surface of the toner recovery roll 22. The toner scraping member 23c is provided to come into contact with the outer periphery surface of the toner recovery roll 22 to scrape off the toner attracted and stuck to the toner recovery roll 22. The insulation layer 22c of the toner recovery roll 22 is provided with a thick layer part and a thin layer part in its periphery direction. |
