When two or more dental implants have to be inserted in a patient's jaw, the axes of the anchor pins of the implants are arranged to be parallel to each other. An appliance which ensures that the anchor pins (6) are parallel to each other consists of a plate (1), to which a number of arms (7) are attached. Each arm has a longitudinal slot for a fixing bolt (3) which enables the arm to be rotated or moved in the direction of the axis of the slot. The outer end of each arm has a boss (2) with a tapered hole to receive the anchor pin (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Insertion of implants in a patient's jaw. The appts. ensures that the anchor pins are correctly aligned.
