<p>An electrophotographic photoreceptor improved in electrostatic characteristics and image pickup and particularly excellent in the reproduction of highly precise images by the use of a liquid developer and in the image pickup according to the scanning exposure system using low-output laser beams. The photoreceptor contains a binder resin comprising at least one resin (A) containing at least 30 wt % of a polymer component of general formula (I) and 0.5 to 15 wt % of a specified polar polymer component and having a weight average molecular weight of 1x103 to 2x104 and at least one resin (B) comprising a star polymer having at least three polymer chains bonded together in an organic molecule, each of said chain containing a specified polar polymer component and a polymer component of formula (I), and having a weight average molecular weight of 3x104 to 1x106. In formula (I) a?1 and a2¿ represent each hydrogen, halogen, cyano, hydrocarbyl, or COOR4 optionally bonded via hydrocarbyl (wherein R4 represents hydrocarbyl); and R3 represents hydrocarbyl.</p> |
