The method involves the making of a video film in Winter, during the 1 min duration of which a scene of a flowing brook is shown. A total of 10 such scenes are filmed and put together. The direction of flow of the brook is always from left to right. On branches overhanging the brook, lumps of ice which appear like ice bells are formed. By concentration on the ice bells, in the background the water is seen to flow from left to right. A piece of stereo music is composed which approximates to the sound of water. A type of bell is introduced into the theme. The water sound begins and slowly moves from left to right. The composition is 1 min long, and is repeated 10 times on a tape. A verbal suggestive concept is then used, which approximates to autogenous training, in which the flowing of the brook from left to right is similar to reading and writing from left to right. Finally, the film and the musical composition are combined to consolidate in the minds of the children the left to right concept.
