PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature impact dot printer which requires no ink ribbon, at low cost by a method wherein ink is induced to the tip of a recording needle through a recording needle made of a capillary tube and ink adheres to a recording form. CONSTITUTION:When a recording signal is entered, a given pulse voltage P is selectively supplied between a piezoelectric conversion element 10 and a metallic piece 9 and the piezoelectric conversion element 10 expands lengthwise and further, the point of the metallic piece 9 pushes a pushing piece 7. When the pushing piece 7 is pushed, a recording needle 1 is moved to an A direction and the needle tip contacts with a recording form 6. At this time, the ink which reaches an opening part at the tip of the recording needle 1 adheres to the recording form 6 which is a kind of a capillary tube, with a minute quantity to permeate into it and a dot is formed. Next thereto, the recording needle 1 immediately returns to the direction of the metallic piece 9 by the operation of a spring 8 and is placed in a stand-by state. |
