<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. and the title binder which is degradable in soil and used for binding a root ball of a tree being transplanted. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises 97-30 pts.wt. rubber compd. contg. 1-5 pts.wt. blowing agent and 3-70 pts.wt. water-sol. additive which will not combine with a rubber of the rubber compd. and dissolves out in soil. The rubber is pref. natural or synthetic natural rubber with a polyisoprene structure, and the additive is pref. at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of carboxymethylcellulose, casein, starch, lecithin, a flocculant, a water-sol. nitrogen fertilizer, a water-sol. phosphoric acid fertilizer, and a water-sol. potassium fertilizer. The compsn. pref. contains a covulcanizing agent consisting of a biodegradable acrylbisamide and a soil conditioner.</p> |
