PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality images having an excellent resolving power, sharpness, halftone reproducibility, and photographic reproducibility and to obtain the toner having excellent cleanability and heat roll fixability as well as to obtain the toner having high reliability which is less changed in electrostatic charge quantity by environment and is not changed in the grain size distribution and electrostatic charge quantity of the tiner even after long-term use. CONSTITUTION:The surface-modified resin particles obtd. by adding the low mol.wt. polypropylene modified at the terminal with secondary alcohol is added wet to small-grain size resin particles or the precursor thereof are used as a base material. More preferably, the low-mol.wt. polypropylene contg. >=80% isotactic component is deposited and fixed from the inside of a soln. to the surfaces of the surface-modified resin particles. |
