PURPOSE:To obtain an air conditioner capable of enhancing a heat-exchanging performance and a humidifying performance in a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:Provisions are made of a vaporization type humidifier 2 having an air-permeable humidifying layer 22, and a heat exchanger 5, the humidifier 2 being disposed on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 5. When the humidifying layer 22 is structured, blocks 22a having greater pressure drop are employed to a portion of the humidifying layer, which is opposed to a portion where face air speed with respect to the heat exchanger 5 is high, while blocks 22b having smaller pressure drop are employed to other portions thereof. According to this structure, an air current in an air passage is not concentrated on one place but flows into other portions where face air speed is low. |
