<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a jiggling correcting means with the juggling correction area narrowly limited by performing jiggling detection and correction only in a trimming photographing mode. CONSTITUTION:A camera has a means (a) of setting either a normal photographing mode to get a print for an entire photographing screen or a trimming photographing mode to take an artificial zoom-up photograph or a panoramic photograph with part of a photographing screen trimmed. A jiggling detecting means (b) to detect jiggling in a photographing screen during setting the trimming photographing mode and a jiggling correcting means (c) to correct the jiggling of an image in the photographing screen in accordance with the detection result of the jiggling detecting means (b) are provided. In addition, the jiggling correcting means (c) is formed with an optical element to oscillate its optical axis in such a manner that it is forcibly inserted into a camera photographing optical system during setting the trimming photographing mode to correct the jiggling of an image in the photographing screen in accordance with the detection result of the jiggling detecting means (b).</p> |
