PURPOSE:To enhance reproduction performance and developing performance and operation efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material for forming the planographic printing plate needing no dampening water is characterized by being wholly exposed immediately before or immediately after imagewise exposure and processed by the automatic developing machine. The whole exposure is carried out with an active ray illumination device and whole exposure amount is 0.02-20% of the amount of the imagewise exposure. The automatic developing machine can execute development processing of both of this printing plate and a PS plate, and the imagewise exposed plate 1 is discriminated whether it is this plate or the PS plate by a plate detector 16 and by a plate discrimination sensor 17, and an exposure amount corresponding to the kind of the plate is given by a signal sent from a controller 18 to a lamp intensity controller. |
